BBC: Monks brawl at Jerusalem shrine
Israeli police have had to restore order at one of Christianity’s holiest sites after a brawl broke out between monks in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Fighting erupted between Greek Orthodox and Armenian monks at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the traditional site of Christ’s crucifixion.

We stood & listened to the Pope in the Vatican square yesterday. Half way through, he cut the latin & shouted ‘hello to everyone here from Birmingham, England’. Suddenly, all these St. George flags shot up in a scene resumbling a cup match. I couldn’t believe it…you just couldn’t make it up!
