Words of wisdom

…courtesy of Mr Mark E Smith in today's Observer:

If I could change one law I would reverse the smoking ban immediately. I was in a pub last Saturday night, just having a quiet pint, and this fella gets his baby out and changes its nappy on the table next to me. That would have never happened before the smoking ban.

He has a point you know, anti-smoking killjoys.

  1. I preferred the old days when kids had to sit outside in the carpark with a lemonade and a packet of crisps. What also worries me is the guy also knew when the nappy needed changing, rather than blame his mates for the funny smell.

  2. Yes I remember sittingat the rusty metal tables outside pubs as a kid.

Like Mark's comment about drinking limits and Jamie Oliver: "They just want us to stay in and eat turnips"
