Jen and I cooked a vegetarian meal last night, and it was bloody brilliant: Mediterranean and Basil Pasta.
We then discussed which meat or fish we would add to make it into food. My money's on sardines, but it's just a hunch.

To put the glove on the other foot, we went for a pizza at Ask at the weekend.
Being a veggie of long standing I ordered the quattro formaggio with anchovies, (one of my weaknesses). When it arrived, I realised that I had actually ordered the quattro stagioni.
Luckily for me, their idea of a quattro stagioni was to drape a piece of limp bacon over the proceedings. I had not tasted bacon in over 20 years.......it was lovely!
I once ordered a veggie salad in the States & the waitress asked me if I wanted chicken with it!
