I agree that this is one of the few valid reasons for antipathy toward cats, but I'm yet to be convinced.
I bet there's an entry in a diary somewhere saying how much Darwin loved cats - that'll put you in a fix!
One of his theories was that we are all descended from cats, except that we lost the urge to bury our own shit!
