Stense bought me this book. She said she thought I’d probably like it. She was right. She said she had laughed out loud once or twice per chapter. So did I.
Sedaris’s humour is gentle, but sneaks up on you, until you read a particularly funny phrase, and you suddenly find yourself shaking with laughter.
One to buy for your friends and tell them they’ll probably like it.
