On The Weakest Link last night:
Anne Robinson: In 2006, the TV series Le Bureau was the French version of which popular British sit-com?
Confident Contestant: Only Fools and Horses.

But Isn't this what you watch the weakest link for: The slightly guilty feeling of superiority when somebody gives an answer and you think "How could they possiblyhave got that wrong!" My own personal favourite is:
Anne Robinson:The adjective "Cornish" refers to the inhabitants of what English county?
Confused Contestant:Devon.
Mind you, Anne does have a confusing way of pronouncing some words in the questions. I always remember hearing her calling T. Rex a "coniferous" dinosaur.
I don't feel the slightest bit guilty feeling superior when they give ridiculous answers: I just think, you idiot!
You're right, though, Anne R does mispronounce words with surprising regularity for a quiz show host.
