Cabaret

What good is sitting alone in your room?
   Come hear the music play.
Life is a cabaret, old chum,
   Come to the cabaret.

Discuss.

  1. So was Liza-with-a-zee Minnelli right? Is life a cabaret, old chums? Or was she just singing out of her fat arse?

And if life is indeed a cabaret, where the hell does that get us?

I'd be genuinely interested to hear your views.

    But not that interested.

  2. "Start by admitting 'from cradle to tomb isn't that long a stay'". Not a bad policy in my book. You just never know when it's all going to fall apart.

    It's melon-dalmation-collie Monday.

  3. Personally I think the original play of "Cabaret" was far better than the movie. But that's a little off topic I suppose. I think life is like a cabaret, I mean you've got your talented people and bizarre freaks up on the stage of life, and the "supposedly" normal people in the crowd
