Jen was reading a copy of Ideal Homes magazine the other day, when she remarked, "Do you know, this couple have gone on and on about their new staircase, and how much it cost, and how wonderful it is, and how they had to move the front of their house forward one metre so they could fit it in—and there's not even a fucking photo of it!"

"...they had to move the front of their house forward one metre so they could fit it in"! Surely this is the most raging madness. Don't get me wrong; I like stairs. I even thinkthe value of good stairs is underrated,but if your stairs don't fit in your house then get smaller stairs!
Can't fault Jen though - if they are worth moving the house for, they are worth a photo.
Just noticed that the staircase in your banner image from the Vatican is double-helical. Must mean something. Or not.
They really are cool stairs anyway.
