It's oh so nice to go travelling…

Sorry about the lack of updates: Jen and I have been on holiday in Rome. Here are the photos).

"So, did you miss me while I was off?" I asked Carolyn on the phone on Thursday.

"Well, I did notice that you weren't there a couple of times," said Carolyn

I reckon that sort of counts.

  1. I have fond memories of the elephant statue. Did you visit Man Ray's house? I was just round the corner from the elephant. The high point of our visit was the castile de angelis at sunset.

  2. Didn't know Man Ray's house was there, otherwise I would certainly have visited. My favourite visit (as you'll guess from the photos) is to the Pantheon. We went pretty much every day (as we did the last time we were in Rome). In fact, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that the Pantheon was my main reason for visiting Rome in the first place - I saw a photo of it in an archaeology lecture at university in 1985, and knew I had to go there one day.
