Thanks for posting that link. Just been impressing the wife (she did ask otherwise it would have been boring the wife) with my knowledge of the various parts of this glorious, Heath Robinson in the sky. It cheered me up no end, especially after the last part of the Adam Curtis the other night. What a wonderful riposte.
Well that's my first avatar. You chose well Master Carter.
Erm... Your avatar was created at the same time as everyone else's, well over a year ago. Must be your weird browser.
Safari? Weird? What the deuce!? Must be a year since I last posted. Yeah that'll be it.
Safari! That explains everything!
It is unfathomable that the country largely responsible for this triumph is the same one where people were recently preparing for yet another Biblical prediction of the end of the world.
It's a fabulous image.
There's less camera shake on this than the bats. Tripod? It's amazing the things that whizz over your garden.
(Also: nowt weird about Safari).
Not the first time I've photographed the ISS from my garden, but I'm starting to get the hang of it now.
Safari? Schmafari!
Yes, now you mention it I do recall you took one of the ISS. Just the ISS. My bro', however, took one of the ISS and the shuttle from his garden near his house.
You'll be gratified to know that in order to submit this comment I had to use FF to get the funky editing to work, because you've rigged it not to do anything in Safari. How dastardly.
Yes, well, if you look very closely, you will see that mine was of the ISS and a recently undocked Russian supply vessel.

It's well worth it!
