Excavation

About 20 years ago, I bought my dad a Swiss Army knife. A few months later, he saw it fall out of his pocket as he was working in the garden, but couldn’t find it in the undergrowth, despite looking many times. We often reminisced about that knife.

Last week, while digging in the garden, dad found what’s left of it:

Penknife
Dad's penknife.

A drop of oil should do the trick.

  1. How is a drop of oil going to make your dad like new?

If I'd lost a Swiss Army knife, the first place I'd look would be at the bottom of the garden.
They're well-known for sitting on the fence!
