What I MEANT to say was.....just like a Yorkshireman....crusty exterior and thick inside. Still trying to get the hang of this 'insulting people' business!
Botham's pork pies (Whitby) warm from the bakery in the morning are one of the finest works of cuisine known to Homo lardiensesis. I am currently secretly force feeding geese with said pies to try to create the greatest foie gras ever.
Ah yes....crusty exterior and thick inside.
Even if I did eat meat, (oh, shut up, Richard!) I wouldn't eat it off that (Poole Pottery?) plate!
No, we gave the Poole stuff to Oxfam. The 'plate' depicted (it's actually a bowl) is Royal Winton—as in Dale, but slightly less orange.
