HOLY CRAP!! I just went outside and the sky was this freakish blue colour. And bang in the middle of it was this blindingly bright round object that appeared to be emanating heat.
I have heard tales of such phenomena, but have, until now, put them down to the ramblings of the deranged and feeble-minded.
It's the dawn of a new era.
I can't tell you what the blue thing is, but I do know what that bright, heat eminating thing is. It is a figment of your imagination, pay it no mind.
How do I know it is a fictional entity, a delusion, a confection of a deranged mind? Simple: creationists told me so.
Oh yes, in my desire to be "open minded", "tolerant" and "scientific" I have read creationist tomes and spoken to creationists. These creationists and their tomes have assured me that evolution is impossible because it contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics (note captialisation, it's not important unless it's capitalised doncherknow). The Second Law of Thermodynamics applies to closed systems, that bright, hotobject would make the earth an open system and thus make evolution possible which makes the baby Jesus cry and therefore CAN NOT HAPPEN (all caps are apparently important) due to a literal reading of Genesis (although what Phil Collins has to do with this I have no idea).
Quite simply that big bright thing is an hallucination brought on by your hatred of the baby Jesus.
