Have to say, I generally prefer Springsteen's non-E Street Band albums (quieter, less stadium-rocky). But, when you see him in a stadium, you need the band to be there - and Clarence was a huge part of that band. Reply
You're right about stadia - which are where I've seen Springsteen the most, so I guess that colours my judgement. And of course he was brilliant as one of the Three Most Imporatnt People in the World... Reply
